More About The Farm...
Raspberry Ridge Farms is a very rustic 400 acre working horse farm located near Newburgh, in southeastern Ontario, Canada. We have a 90x180' lighted sand ring, a half km all-weather conditioning track and stadium field (bottom left of above left photo), three levels of cross-country jumps, and miles of trails.
The farm was purchased in 1991 for use as a horse farm after years as a cattle farm. We began renovations on the
Victorian farmhouse
(right) and started coaching a few individual riders. In 1993 our lesson program began. In 1994, the popular local
day and overnight camp
began, offering March Break Camp for children ages 5 and up.
The camps offer a daily riding lesson and trail ride or games on horseback. Campers also learn how to care for the animals including grooming and stable management.
We also offer:
riding lessons
from a
Certified Level 3
English
CHA instructor
as well as limited
boarding, and
rental of our cross-country course. Look
throughout our web site to view more
camp and farm pictures or to look our
photo gallery.
The farm is home to approximately thirty horses and ponies, ranging from small Welsh cross children's ponies to large Thoroughbreds, warmbloods and crosses.

We also have seven donkeys - just for fun!, eight llamas, and an
assortment of exotic chickens who keep us supplied in eggs.
