Boarding
 At
Raspberry Ridge Farms we offer live-on-site management by professional, very
experienced horse people. Our fat, happy horses have a
natural, healthy lifestyle with tons of pasture and miles of trails and most spend the majority of their time outdoors. They
have 320 acres of pastures, including large pasture areas to maintain physical
and mental fitness, and four smaller fenced paddocks, four run-in shelters and a varied terrain of hills
open pasture and trees.
We normally have about 30 horses
on site. Their care is tailored to the individual need of the horse or pony:
from 24/7 outdoors with hay and pasture for "rough-and-tumble" ponies, to stabling
with blankets
and special care for older or more fragile horses. The prices for
boarding, of course, reflects those differences in cost. We have 28 years
experience in hands-on care including foaling mares, young horses and elderly
horses.
Our boarders tend to be
adults and a few young people who are eventers and serious recreational riders who love to hack, but
still take lessons and clinics. Some attend a few shows/events. They are a relaxed,
supportive group who enjoy riding together and helping each other through
schooling difficulties.
We offer and on-site certified
level 3 coach who
teaches all of the English disciplines and basic Western with a focus on Eventing. We also have a
visiting Dressage coach for the serious rider as well as guest clinicians.
